What's New for the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado
The 2025 Colorado is highlighted by a fresh exterior design that you'll enjoy driving on the streets of Kingsland, TX. Step inside the cabin and you'll be surrounded by a redesigned environment that puts a high priority on comfort and convenience. Appealing materials, intuitive controls, and contemporary touches create an inviting atmosphere for the driver and passengers.
The Engine and Performance
The 2025 Colorado will be powered by a potent 2.7-liter turbocharged engine called the TurboMax. This powerplant gives Marble Falls, TX drivers an efficient 310 horsepower and a 430 pound-feet of torque. The Chevy Colorado is equipped with independent front suspension that includes a solid rear axle and leaf springs. In the ZR2 trim, there are a big Multimatic DSSV dampers in front and the rear DSSVs are mounted on the outside of the frame. The off-road ZR2 trim comes with power-locking front and rear differentials and the rugged ZR2 Bison rolls on 35-inch tires, the biggest available in the mid-size pickup class.
Towing and Hauling
The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado can handle a variety of towing and hauling responsibilites. With its L3B 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the Chevy Colorado for 2025 has a maximum towing capacity of 7700 pounds, which is the most in the mid-size pickup class. Maximum payload in the new Chevy Colorado is 1,684 pounds. From hauling equipment to your job site in Granite Shoals, TX to towing your boat to the lake, the Colorado is ready to work.
Design Highlights
Every new Chevy Colorado is a four-door crew cab and has a new center console with a shift mechanism that's closer to the passenger side of the cab. Cupholders are conveniently positioned in front of the center console and there's a new infotainment screen as well as an updated steering wheel as part of the upgraded design. In ZR2 models you'll find a practical 45-inch-wide lockable storage box in the bed.
Technology
Standard technology in the new Chevy Colorado includes an 11.3-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, satellite radio, push-button start and an 11.0-inch digital instrument cluster. Available upgrades include wireless device charging, remote start, proximity keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, an automatically-dimming rearview mirror, a sunroof and a Bose stereo system with seven speakers.
Safety
Standard safety features in the new 2025 Chevy Colorado include lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera as well as a forward collision warning system. Optional safety upgrades include adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system, blind-spot monitoring, reverse automatic emergency braking and rear cross-traffic alert.
